My hat is off to Ashley Johnson and the team at Methodist Hospital for daring to step outside the norm, selling the concept to administration, and for making this work so well. Chuck Stinnett in the Evansville Courier & Press:
“It was really hard for them (administrators) to get their heads around using social media for health care marketing,” Johnson said.
“What’s extremely exciting for me is that the (hospital) administration approved one of my crazy ideas and it came to life,” she said. “For me, it was a great professional achievement. Us creative types sometimes get out there and have to be reeled back in.”
