Hospital Foundation To Raise Cash With Specialty License Plates

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation secured purchase commitments from 1,000 people to have specialty license plates. They get $41.25 from each plate. Bob Lowry in The Huntsville Times:

The foundation said in its filing with the state Revenue Department last August that net proceeds from the sale of the tags, which will cost an extra $50, would be used to “purchase lifesaving, cutting-edge equipment” for the hospital.”
